*** Update (from eater.com): Washington, DC-area burger restaurant chain BGR The Burger Joint thought their burgers needed to be a little more Jersey, and thus are introducing the Snooki Burger next month. After calling for suggestions online, responses included “stuffed with an Italian sausage” and “marinated in tequila and desperation.” BGR reminds me a LOT [...]

Review: Todd English’s Olives (Las Vegas)
From Boston, MA, Todd English‘s Olives restaurants are described as “rustic Mediterranean” with locations in Massachusetts, Las Vegas, NYC, as well as here in DC. The two things I kept reading about the Vegas Olives was (1) get the beef carpaccio and (2) get a seat on the patio or near the windows so you [...]

Business has been booming and reservation books have been maxed out at Volt, Chef Bryan Voltaggio’s Frederick, MD restaurant located right in the middle of downtown. His restaurant’s notoriety exploded as the chef climbed Bravo TV’s Top Chef Season 6 ladder, only losing in the end to his brother, Michael. After making reservations 2 months [...]

Review: Spider Holster System
Since starting up in the world of photography, I’ve always been a big supporter and fan of having a camera bag that doesn’t look like an obvious camera bag, which is why I love my Complete Seed with Photo Bucket and my 6-Million Dollar Home. That being said, I also really like having my camera [...]

Fail: Party Planning
To help celebrate the end of the cherry blossom festival, there are fireworks set off by the washington monument every year. it is a nice alternative to going into the city for fourth of july - which ends up being a cluster- of a good time. So when we got an opportunity to go to a cherry blossom festival party with a rooftop view of the fireworks, why not?

Review: All-Clad 12 qt Multi-pot
Since my brief time working for both William Sonoma and Sur La Table, I’ve always had my eye out for the stainless steel products available. Most notably, the All-Clad line of cookware. Because while I was an employee at these two stores, I could get the employee discount, however – also because I was an [...]
